As soon as the sale of my delsol to a friend of mine has fallen through due to circumstances beyond his control, I am re-advertising my Vortech supercharged CRX Delsol SiR.
Sorry if people have seen this before but I have just copied and pasted the original ad and added a few bits or I would of been here all day typing a new one up.

This car has also had a 7 page feature in issue 3 of J Tuner magazine earlier this year.

This is the ONLY Vortech aftercooled supercharged CRX Delsol in the U.K, I have owned this car for over 3 and a half years now, I am the 2nd owner since the car was imported into this country from Japan in 1998. I bought it completely standard back in March 2002 and have carried out all the work on the car as you see it in the photo's below. I have put my heart and soul into this car (and money!) and it really breaks my heart to advertise it for sale, but due to circumstances beyond my control I have to sell it. :(
The car has MOT until June 2006 but no Tax as I am no longer insured on the car and its declared SORN.
Maintainance
As you can see by the photos, the car has been cared for emensely. I religously change the oil and filter every 3000 miles or less, ALWAYS let the car warm up to normal operating temperature before driving over 3000rpm, and ALWAYS allow the turbo timer to tick (to allow the supercharger to cool and drain its oil, prolonging its life.) once I have finished the journey.
Bodywork
The bodywork is absolutely brilliant for its age, with NO rust ANYWHERE. I regulary polish and wax it with Meguires to keep it looking this good. The seals around the roof and windows are also in very good condition and do not leak. (I also regulary treat them with 100% silicone grease to stop them from cracking and leaking.) The car is in such good condition it even won Honda of the show at a recent Jap car show, with plaque to prove. The front wings have been replaced with carbon fibre wings with Z3 style vents in them, and the bonnet has been replaced with an OE style carbon fibre bonnet.

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a13/ArronS/solfront.jpg
Electric roof
The roof is a electric Transtop where the boot rises on hydrolics and the roof panel slides into the boot lid before lowering itself back to the boot. This works 100% and over the 3 years of ownership it has NEVER let me down! and looks brilliant in working motion.

History
As you can see by the photo below I have a loads of history for the car including a huge pile of receipts for all mods, general parts and work carried out on the car. One receipt totalling to £4100 alone! I even have Japanese history including original japanese manuals, receipts, and even the original kph clock which was changed when it was imported to this country, and japanese history/manuals with an import is VERY rare!
http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a13/ArronS/solhistory.jpg
Interior
Virtually the whole interior has been updated, with Red 'Recaro style' Corbeau Targa seats with the door panels and rear panels behind the seats trimmed to match. The center consol has been modified to house the headunit and LCD graphic equilizer along with the addition of a nice Audi TT chrome gear gaiter surround. The center air vent surround has been modified to house an Apexi VAFC1 unit which now the Hondata S200 is up and running is purely used for monitoring purposes. A second air vent surround has had the same treatment to house an Apexi RSM unit which sits in its own custom made 'pod' on top of the dash which, like the center consol, has been professionally trimmed in leather to match the dash. The glove box is now home to the Hondata S200 ECU and a PA system (currently not connected). The original steering wheel has been replaced with a Momo Competition wheel which has been modified,- the horn button has been removed and an infared remote for the headunit now sits in its place. A chrome button either side of the remote now acts as the horn. EL glow dials have been fitted with 6 colour options, and various parts of the interior have been sprayed metallic silver to brighten things up a bit.

Engine work
Onto the engine, the supercharger was fitted in may 2004, I had the whole engine stripped, cleaned, and re-built with a full set of new gaskets, seals and belts throughout, inc cambelt. (I have the milage written down of when exactly it was fitted.) Since the supercharger has been fitted I have had no problems what so ever, only one I recall is where the engine revs were too high on idle, which we later found out was only due to a tiny split in the inlet manifold gasket which was sucking in air. Once replaced with a new one the car was fine. Engine spec below.

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a13/ArronS/dumpvalve.jpg
Brakes
Due to the standard SiR brakes being a bit shocking out of the factory it only made sence to uprate them, especially with the power hike the supercharger has added. So a set of 325mm x 30mm vented 'porsche style' drilled discs with alloy bells were fitted to the front of the car along with red Brembo 4 pot calipers and Ferodo pads. On the rear they have been uprated but more for cosmetic reasons and to balance things out a bit, both for braking performance and visually. 300mm x 10mm drilled solid discs with alloy bells were fitted to the rear with the standard caliper remaining.
