de-badging

I've got a question, as you can see, i'm from holland and my english is pretty good, but, what the f$%^ is de-badging, i saw it between the modding link above........

right it is when you take all the standard badges off your car like car manufacturer i.e. Vauxhall, car type i.e. 16v, car model i.e. Nova. Mainly on the boot of the car
