right, ive ordered some PI springs for my car untill i can afford koni sports, i dont really wanna pay to have the springs fitted...any chance someone can help me with em or let me use the tools? some people have told me its hard some have said its piss, anyone done it before? Mr Mot (as ste says :D)

only if u dont use spring clamps! they tend to fly of n put holes in garage roofs so i heard last nite! he he!
chink got sum spring compressors we can use if we ask him nicely!!!

Morgan told us last nite he couln't be RS'd with clamps so just wound them off slowly n ducked!!! LOL!!
n lloydys dad was tekin the shocks off his old carpri n the suspension turret was rotten so all of a sudden the spring bost through the rust n flew into the garage roof!! LOL!!!
dunno when im free yet mate, i'll ave a think! gotta fit laminate board styleeee floorin for the mrs old's next sat.

went for the pi springs -45mm shud go to about -50mm

not too bad cus they're decent springs n delivery was feckin quick, just need to fit em :D
kwik fit sed £15 a corner as a backhander....dunno whether to shop around for cheaper, wait for mr ste or go for kwik fit

most ppl would pay £150ish for springs supplied and fitted

Changing springs without compressors? You guys are alot braver than me!!!! And I'm not entirely suprised that they shoot into the garage roof when let go (tho am very ammused!!! :-) )
Did my Rover ok, but the inspection pit was a great help. I wouldn't have done it myself had my mate not had a pit at his Dad's house.
springs can be bloody nasty things!!!! i used spring compressors and 1 poped off making the spring jump out my hand bite onto my trousers almost ripping them off lol making a big hole in em and finally bounced across the other side of my garage just missing my car.lol.
one hell of a scary experance i can tell ya :)
