The pearl started as a standard TME, 30k miles, full recaro's uprated rad and 280bhp. I was second person to own her since she's been in the uk with full import history (non of this fake UK import, cut a fog light in your bumper from the rip off merchant xtreme nonsense lol)

She came with a huge KOYO rad already fitted.. so first modification of my own was the mines back box and 3" decat pipe!
After this I took her into Xtreme for a full service, checkover and tune.. after they damaged by arch getting it onto the ramp and charged me a fortune for poor work with hardly a clue what they were trying to sell I left with empty pockets.. and the realisation to never go back there again!

Next modification to come was the cone filter and red samcos (still more samcos to come)
Then came the graphics! Like marmite you either love them or hate them, but they advertise the site and are the difference between people not bothering to look at another evo driving past.. and making peoples heads turn for all the right reasons! So I love um :)

After that wheels were replaced with the lightweight team dynamics racelite pro's, with a new rear driveshaft, kunckle assembly, lower and top arm fitted.. (this time by a very good and trustworthy mechanic!..josh)
The doubledin DVD head unit was then slapped in..
Next 4 wheel alignment was needed in preperation for the Nurburgring! provided by the guys down at chemix in dudley.
Again in preperation for the ring I purchased some new EBS drilled and grooved brake disks and mintex xtreme pads, had these fitted and also AYC oil changed again (on top of the 4500 services that had been undertaken since i'd had her)
I left the final oil change to the weekend before the ring... big mistake! due to o-wik offering to put my sump plug back on from the previous oil change he had threaded the bolt.. meaning I couldnt undo or do up the sump plug.. spent a day trying to get hold of a sump which was impossoible so we spent that night til 10pm again at joshes dopping the sump off and doing a quick job re-threading it, changing oil and adding plenty of sealent around the plug which managed to last for the ring thankfully.
Got back from the nurburg and after another service the sump needed sorting out properly.. so down ro sevs for another sump off job and re-seal!
Now for some serious engine work..
- evo 8 fuel rail
- evo 8 turbo
- hard pipe
- walbro fuel pump
Then onto Powerflow in stafford to get a custome stainless 3" turbo down pipe and new wider flexipipe to match the 3" decat pipe..

then back for..
- boost increased to 1.5 bar
- boost gauge
- fuel cut defender
- overall tune up
- paddle clutch
Now from the weather wear on the damaged skirt caused by extreme... and facing the nurbrurgring and back the paint had flaked off even more and now exposing the arch.. so she went into INNOVATION BODYWORX who did a great job on re-painting the skirt and custom painted my rocker cover whilst in there.
Now the most recent mod is the ICE install in the back.. spare wheel removed to save weight and replaced with a lighter sound system and custom install provided by L&J Audio who did an absolutley amazing job, as well as custom Streetrace door cards.
Still to come is now new tyres.. single piece TSL headlight conversion and ARP bolts in prep for the rolling road!
