Nothing but respect for this mate, more so that its been kept as a road car. It can hit something silly like 180mph in 1/2 mile can't it??

Anyway, new build looks awesome, keep us updated

also, which inlet are you using, looks like a standard 4wd cos item

not done any quarters in earnest but did a set of figure in 2004 when 200mph was cracked. 11.5 @ 139mph. on the 200mph gearing.
With its present Power terminal would be around 145 I guess, no idea of time maybe a very high 10 not sure

Yes 180 at 1/2 mile
200 at 1 mile

The inlet is a RS500 but its spaced to increase capacity. Have tried it against the latest inlets & it makes Power quicker (ie less boost) so we have kept it, should see the 780/800 we require.

Done what !! certainly Martin or Brom have not produced an engine at this Power level & have not done 200mph. Both of these guys have awesome cars but have concentrated on track not Topspeed. Martins & Broms car may be road legal but not a fully loaded road car like mine. 3 awesome cars made for different purposes ;) .

Beat me to it Rod, all the best with the future and don't forget us and keep us up to date with the progress on the new engine developments (y)

I hope you're gonna be driving the top speed attempts this time instead of Mark in his dodgy cardigans :p

Indeed I am, Ive told Mark I want to hold the record, 4 of the top 10 fastest times by a Cosworth are mine, but Mark holds the top 3. ::scared::
