I need help, i have SPLX amp and sub (when you have all stopped laughing) it was good bargin at £100 and beats my mates Vibe sub hands down, the problem i have is that i wired it up exactly the same as i did in my old car even used the same head unit but after a couple days the fuse blows in the amp and after 5 replacements i think i might have a slight problem any ideas??
probably a bad earth mate, if its a cheap amp it might blow the fuse instead of just cutting out....where you got it earthed to?
double check all ur wiring and also try turnin it down a bit n see how long it lasts. Might be workin 2 hard on full volume all the time.

Would suggest what biggy said and also have a look where the amp is, make sure theres plenty of air serculation. They get very hot when run on full volume for a long time.
yup, some amps have thermal protection so when they overheat they turn off till they cool down, like mine does.
Urs mite not have and might blow fuses instead!

check ur power cable is rated correct for the amp.
U may have the wrong fuse in thge amp to begin with to.
Also check the power cable into the amp and make sure there aint a few stray strands sticking out which will short out on the adjacent earth
