I wont recomend it, best bet is to put it in the car, one they aren't designed to get wet, and also for safetly reasons its best to have the power cable amped under the bonnet near the battery and amped after the power cap, just for safety. Also if you get a cap with a voltage read out they look good,
the other thing is, do u need one ? also for for a larger battery first

Don't put it under the bonnet!!!! If that thing sparks it'll take the rest of the car with it! Install it in car. Good place is behind the arm rest in the back. Coverit with perspex and neon it from behind. That way you can hide it when you leave the car but make it look the bollox when you got the birds on board!!!
yeah if you already have uprated battery and the big 3 wires and running two caps I would seriously say uprate your alternator because its gonna be struggling esp if u have power problems!
