i doubt that they'll be 450 rms, more like 100 - 150 rms probably a small 2 channel or even a 4 channel, that way u can run some 6x9's or somethin off the amp as well
Try lookin in the back of car mags, some cheap prices for last years models, etc!!!! Like Mr Big sed, a small amp would do, maybe even a single channel kenwood mono sub amp or sumsin as they are only lowish watt speakers!

It all depends what you are going to do Competition/listening one or the other or both
got a alpine mrd500 in mine. 500 watts rms and 900 max and can drop 1ohm highly recomended.

And it kcks nicley too, Im running a Rockford 400 A4 amp to power my subs, only using two channels bridged and a phionex gold QX150.4 to run all my full range:)

max/peak is a completley useless rating RMS at 12.5V is the rating you want to use for anything. Alpine amps are good sq amps and if you drop an alpine amp to 1ohm when all but one are only made to goto 2ohm it will last around 6 months and they will not repair it.
