Figured i should realy get an alarm for the astra, any1 got any suggestions at to get, would like one that insurance accepts, and i aint gotta massive budget but il spend wati need. Any suggestions?

yeah ya best off speakin to those 2, or if u don't wanna travel that far, i had mine done at 1st world audio, in mezza. think its about 350 for the clifford concept 300. but i had the arrow g5 and remote start which isn't cat 1

There's quite a lot of choice on for cat 1's , ranging from £250 upwards, be carefull of cheap jobs as you only get what you pay for and being in the trade 12 years trust me i,ve seen some horror stories at the customers expence ! But any way here some options on cat 1 alarms fitted :

- Autowatch 160 RLI £250 inc up to £400 XS cover if ya car is stolen and not recovered ! also comes in the blue LED range at £10 more . This system does all your CDL, protects your doors, boot, bonnet and has ultrasonics for the interior, with a 2 cut immobiliser, self powered siren, ignition lock plus loads of other stuff.This is the only make to have a nationwide warrenty!

-Toad Ai606 £299 same features as above , bur without the XS part

-Clifford concept 650 £399 same as above but with a microwave for the interior and blackjax anti jack system

-Clifford Intelstart is £150 with an alarm or £180 at a later date

1st world audio is only 5 mins from me, but gta fealin il be comin to u cutloose. Im thinkin i shoudl get the alarm b4 i get anythin else on the safe side so will be early jan il be ringin :)
