The car is in excellent condition inside and out, if you are interested in a mk2 golf then you must come and see this tidy example.
The car has 120,000 miles on the clock, and as other sr peeps will tell you, has just gone to the nurburgring and back without missing a beat, runs perfect.
I have put full set of coilovers on it, vented discs, and ultra m3 style rear lights on it. It is in totally original condition with no mods at all apart from those just mentioned, but really is an ideal track/vr6/1.8t project car as the shell is in such perfect condition, coilovers are already on it.
I have receipts for over £800 since i bought it about 3 months ago, it has 9 months m.o.t and 3 months tax remaining, and i am only selling to make way for a new car. Most peeps here probably know that i get bored quickly, lol!
Bad points about the car!
Dash bulbs need replacing
Clutch works fine but is quite high so would reccomend replacement in next few months.
Exhaust rattles, havn't even looked to see what it is yet, as i have just put up with it, presume a loose bracket or manifold to centre section exhaust springs worn.
Rear washer not working.
These are all realitively small jobs, but just want the car out the way now, sure if i spent a weekend on it then could try to sell for a bit more, but just need the cash towards my next car.
Car has just recently had a full service, but comes with no service history. Had it fully checked over by jody at midland vw and my dad who is a mechanic, and both say car is mechanically sound.
