how do i make it louder ????

my aim is to have load system without exessive bass (but still some) . i have a lot of stuff already but i dont know the most cost efective way of makin it better

i currently have

Sony CDX-M8800 (With BBE MP3 Playback from CD-R/RW)
directed amp + rockford 12" he2 sub
cheapo poineer front speakers from halfords :P
alpine rear speakers that have now seen better days

i was thinking i need to remove the 4 speakers and fit an amp to run 4 new ones . but what amp and what speakers or is there a better way that u know ??? i want to speand as little as possible but if needs be i can spend between £100 - £200 pounds

what kind of set up is best ..
a 4 way amp runnin 4 decent speakers . and what power per channel is best

are the rear speakers door speakers or 6x9 type speakers? if they are door speakers id just run then off the head unit and amp up your front door speakers thats what mine are doing at the moment and they sound plenty loud enough for me!

the rear speakers are alpine 4 or 5" round speakers .

If you wait a while and double the budget then you will be well in. I use Infiniti speakers off alpine amps. I swear by the combination.

i got x2 12" sony pent and 2x 600 mono amp and 1frad cap and front and back jbl compoants with 4 crossovers and 4 tweeters and now im buyin 2 15" sony pents on top and maybe 6x9s o and a big amp extra haha

lmao nice one raver an jus to let u know loui they are 16k brand new well that is wat i paid and i had full leather and heated seats put in for another grand an this is an ongoign joke between me an bates so i ment nothin by that comment an my sound system is being upgraded as we speak i have got cutloose on the job of some mint frount componets an then if i ever get the mony there will be a full install in the car but i need bout 2k to make it work how i want it
